This dock not use much now as it has filled up with shingle and it's cheaper for the company to land passengers back up the lake and bus them into town.
Day 2 and it's freezing... View from our chairlift ride to a high point. Looking back down the lake to where we crossed the border with Chile.
El Condor Station is an extensive property growing fine micron merino wool. BBQ house below with it's clever chimney. We had lamb cooked as on a rack + beef, and pork sausages. Long lunch then a visit to the shearing shed and the water powered turbine. A generator required for the shearing tho. Took about 20 minutes to reach this area from the gate. Very like the Mackenzie Country.
Barloche International Airport is on the side of the station.
Sunrise on our last morning. Off to Buenos Aires later this morning.
