Seville

The grand exhibition centre in Seville was our first stop. Created for an exhibition early last century, the mosaics and ceramics are lovely.  This is a very leafy city with lovely parks and the river meandering through.
Our hotel looked like a dive from the outside, however was gorgeous and freshly refurbished.

Celebrations in the city for Holy Week...the army was out in force.

The beautiful Guadalquivir River...

Outside displays associated with the religious festivals

An afternoon's stroll in the grounds of the royal palace. A beautiful place. Only had a coup;e pf hours. it's free for the locals to visit and there were many family groups with their picnic dinners.
