Very pleasant drive through the countryside to make some touristy visits on the way to Cordoba. In this coastal area there are thousands of hectares of tunnel houses with a variety of vegetables - tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers etc.
Our first stop was to wander through this delightful white hillside village. Good photo and ice-cream opportunity!!
Lunch was in Malaga - by the seaside - lovely town and our guide suggested a delicious tapas bar - great recommendation! We had a lovely wander around the inner port area before continuing on our journey.
On the road again towards Cordoba and olive trees as far as the eye can see...
This morning we visited a large olive oil operation - over 600 ha and 100,000 trees. The Halls will be making some slight tweaks with their vast olive oil venture. Lol!!
"Vintage olive oil barrels - now use huge stainless tanks.
And the oil - currently being packaged for the Japanese market.
Cordoba bridge and Basilica - an amazing heritage site to visit.
Martin's new farm scooter - look out!!
Tomorrow we're off to the fast train back to Barcelona and the end of this part of our trip - will be having a farewell dinner together before we part ways the next morning. Then we're off to Basque Country.
I just want to let you know that I just check out your site and I find it very interesting and informative.. malaga tours
